WHAT IS PRESENT IN UDAS NASLAIN

 – By Abdullah Hussain,  An excellent novel on the 'Partition of India', "udas Nasleen" was published in 1963. The special thing of this novel is that this novel is based on human life and its psychology even after half a century, this novel is still maintaining its interest among the youth. In June 1956, Abdullah Hussain started the work of acquiring the material to write 'Adas Nasleen'. He worked on it for five years and the novel was completed in May 1961, but its publication took place in 1963. This novel has been attributed by Abdullah Hussain to the name of his father. It is my personal point that many of our intellectuals raise the objection on the history of Pakistan that a considerable amount of fraudulent element has been added to it. I say that reading this novel will make it quite easy to reach the truth.

THE SECOND PART

The FOURTH PART

(pp. 489-512) is the 'Conclusion'. It contains up to fifty sections. In this section, a picture of the stay of the refugees in the city of Lahore has been drawn. • The timeline of this novel is the first part of the twentieth century which is roughly from 1910 to 19

PLOT AND SUMMARY  OF THE NOVEL UDAS NASLAIN

The history of India and its socio-political conditions have been discussed. First World War, the Jallianwala Bagh incident (April 13, 1919), the role of the Muslim League, and the person and abuse of people during the famine and partition in Bengal are shown. In this novel, two Muslim families are mentioned, one is the family of Roshan Agha, who is a huge landlord and possessor of political influence. While on the other hand, there is the family of Ayaz Beg and Niaz Beg who are farmers in Roshanpur village. The main character of this novel is Niaz Baig's son Naeem.
Who returns to Roshanpur after completing his education in Calcutta. Meanwhile, the Great War begins and Naeem is forced into the army and sent to the front in Europe. After some time, Naeem marries his love, Ezra, daughter of Roshan Agha. Many more characters enter and the story takes many new turns and ends in Pakistan and India.
The main character of the novel 'Naeem': Naeem's character disturbs the reader so much that he is forced to relate himself to the life of a handsome young man by covering his sadness and difficulties in life. Within a few meetings, Naeem falls in love with her. The way Abdullah Hussain has captured the beauty of the body in the beautiful curves of love and weather is admirable.
Second part India This part begins with the poor condition of Roshanpur village in the past years and the comfort and beauty of the present and the growing respect and honor of Fateh Naeem among the young and old children and women.
One of the reasons for this was that till now Naeem was the only one who returned alive from the war. In this section, emphasis is often placed on sounds like Kharghar. Crrrrr. Hoi Shaba. Hoi Shaba, henna. etc. The romantic aspects described by Abdullah Hussain are unique. Naeem and Sheila lying side by side talking all night long and admiring each other perfectly portray the romantic picture. Since Naeem had seen the indiscriminate sacrifice of human lives in the German war, he was now anti-war from within, which is also reflected in his attitude.
The imagery of the beloved coming and settling and then dropping away also shows us the parting of Sheila and Naeem at the end of section 14. Naeem's return to Noor Mahal and his meeting with Ezra, both of them being watched, create a new flow in the story. A few lines later, there is a dialogue between Ezra, Naeem, and a fishmonger, in which he tells the incident of Jalianwala and describes his feelings. Naeem and Ezra's marriage and journey to Delhi have been described perfectly.
In one place, hunger, thirst, and giving thanks to Allah for getting drinks and supplies, makes the important and moral message clear. The character explains to the readers how to help and comfort people with the strength and ability of the individual. While, despite the courage and hard work, the visit to the prison for the sake of the right and the very sad scenes of the conditions and events of the prison also strengthen the interest of the readers.
but Ezra's love and care do not stop Naeem from serving him even on stormy nights. coming Third part distribution Lives have changed. Ezra had a part of Roshan Mahal under his control, Ali was employed in the company and Naeem was involved in the Ministry of Education. In this section Part I British India Naeem, who is the main character of the story, after completing his education comes to the city (Noormahal) where he meets a girl named Azra. Within a few meetings,
Naeem falls in love with her. The way Abdullah Hussain has captured the beauty of the body in the beautiful curves of love and weather is admirable. A few days later, Naeem comes to the village along with his uncle Ayaz Beg and starts helping him in farming. One of the features of this novel is that Abdullah Hussain has described the culture and beauty of Punjab very extensively. There are also dialogues of vulgar language and vulgar words that take the minds of the readers to that place. The mention of the end of the oppression of the British soldiers and the sobs of the innocent oppressed farmers and the people is also captivating. The dialogue between Mahendra Singh and Naeem is worth reading if you want to see the revenge for killing in the name of ethnic honor. At the end of section 7, Naeem and his friends are forcibly taken by the white sergeant to join the army. Abdullah Hussain's moderate use of the English language in the dialogue, giving this novel a very real color, is not the answer.
Second part India This part begins with the poor condition of Roshanpur village in the past years and the comfort and beauty of the present and the growing respect and honor of Fateh Naeem among the young and old children and women.
Here too, the element of beauty is prominent and the conversation of beautiful and ugly, educated and uneducated women is included. Ezra had a part of Roshan Mahal under his control, Ali was employed in the company and Naeem was involved in the Ministry of Education.
This section also mentions the disasters that happened in Bengal and there are incidents of migration that burn human minds and souls. Important central elements like philosophy, messages and conscious discourse are found prominently in this section. Civil disobedience movements. News, Lord Mountbatten's conferences, declaration of independence and deployment of police, treachery, provocation, and Naeem's growing difficulties are the highlights of this section. All the friends running away from Roshan Mahal, people hanging on trains and buses to save their lives, and women dying to protect their virginity, the imagery of all these is heartbreaking. And the long and painful journey of the refugees makes the eyes wet.

FINAL ANALYSIS

After all the suffering and pains, finally, this caravan came Hoor arrives where they find a dilapidated mansion in the city to live in. Immersed in the pitfalls of the past, hoping for the future with the comfort of the present, this novel covers the sadness of three generations.
Nachiz's bad opinion is that Abdullah Hussain Sahib has penned the heart-deceiving story of the country of Pakistan's coming into existence in a beautiful manner. And the sacrifices of the martyrs teach us the importance of this great kingdom of the God-given Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It is hoped that after reading this novel, the love of our country will be excited in everyone's heart.
