PLOT AND SUMMARY OF THE NOVEL RAJA GIDH

The novel "Raja Gadh" published in 1981 became the true identity of Bano Qudsia. In terms of subject, this novel is actually an analysis of the problems of our society which is in line with the Islamic tradition, and for those who are going through formative stages regarding life, death, and madness, especially our youth, this is a book for them. It is a novel of great value.
This novel is of interest to the young generation of the middle class not only because the main characters of the novel get to know each other in the university class, but also because of the attraction that Bano Qudsia has to deal with the crisis of emotions and values.
He has made the subject of the novel and has described non-commitment to Islamic ethics as the cause of this chaos and renunciation as "the way of salvation". More than 14 editions of Rajagadh have been published. This story is about a village boy studying in a government college in Lahore. This guy Qayyum is doing an M.A. in Sociology but in philosophy, he is also the father of Plato. Human psychology, its complex problems, confusions, and analysis is the theme of this novel, but strangely choose characters to describe it all. has gone Five girls study with Qayyum and there are only five boys in the class. The very first day of the class brought Bhunchal, Sammy fell in love with Aftab, Aftab fell in love with Sammy, Qayyum and the class lecturer Sir Sohail fell in love with Sammy in a strange way, in which he does not consider Aftab as his rival. .
Aftab is the only son of Pakistan's biggest carpet dealer, he is engaged to his maternal uncle. In the beginning, he was shown as an ideal personality, but the author trashed his personality in the process of trying to get philosophy out of him. Aftab married Zeba with the consent of his parents, he loves Zeba as well as Sammy but he can't stand up for Sammy and come in front of the family, he leaves Sammy and Sammy to college. Aftab gets married before the exams and spends her honeymoon in Sammy Qayyum's hostel room.
Qayyum and Aftab were roommates, and she keeps looking for Aftab's memories. Both Sammy and Aftab were removed from the scenes till the exams. After the exams, Sammy and Qayyum develop a relationship when Aftab leaves Pakistan and moves to London. Sammy is broken and Qayyum gives her emotional support under Jinnah Bagh's camphor tree, they often meet under the same tree where they philosophize on everything from the sun to life. Highly intelligent two opposite sexes cannot control their emotions and thoughts and often overstep their boundaries and feel no shame or embarrassment about it. Sometimes Sammy disappears from the scene and then suddenly reappears. Sammy resides in YW's infamous hostel, apart from having affairs with other men. But in the novel, Ishq is used again and again, it seems that Sammy keeps looking for the body of Aftab in other men (who do not change their path even after hearing Aftabnama), when there is no one else, she always chooses to serve. It is present and visible. Sammy falls seriously ill, and the author has tried hard to show that Sammy has gone to deathbed in Aftab Faraq.
Sammy is being treated in a hospital at Qayyum's expense and one night commits suicide by swallowing sleeping pills. This is where Qayyum's mental balance begins to deteriorate. He sees various scenes that have no relation to the real world. This happens until another woman comes into his life. He also smokes marijuana. During this time human life is analyzed, various spiritual secrets are revealed, and psychological confusions are solved.
Now Qayyum has a relationship with Abida, a housewife for discussion of psychological and spiritual issues, he also maintains an illicit relationship with her. Abida is a married woman who soon repents and turns back. There is a meeting with Professor Sohail, he understands Qayyum's gender and gives her yoga advice. They teach various yogas, but after tasting the pleasure of Qayyum Haram, they are unable to prepare themselves for Halal, and soon yoga becomes vogue. Professor Sohail makes him deaf with his Razi Bani theory according to which eating is forbidden food causes insanity and madness in a person which is transmitted from generation to generation.
Almost every character in the story is an accomplished sage or Plato. Each character has presented his own philosophy and presented one that is acquired either after centuries of enlightenment or after doing spiritual practices, but here every character is Kundanalal. After Abida, a forty-two-year-old prostitute named Umtal comes into the forbidden life of Qayyum, all the philosophy regarding prostitutes is explained and the story of Umtal and Qayyum's forbidden relationship is told. An analysis of profoundly embroiled experiences is presented by Amtal. Plato would not have learned as much from Aristotle as Amtal acquired by selling his body.
can Then calls Iftikhar from Saudi Arabia, Roshan, and sends him away after marrying him. Sir Sohail one day admits that he loves Sammy, but when Sammy rejects him and holds Aftab's hand, he instills in Aftab that Sammy is a bad girl, and both Separated, but due to constant psychological exercises, he does not realize his sin. The history of birds in the other side of the novel scenes of Saaz Sitbak is shown, probably the spirit resembles a bird, so after a long discussion in the setback, it is established that the vulture eats haram and hence it suffers fits of insanity. Here the novel is completely based on fiction. This direction is actually created to match Sir Sohail's theory. Metaphysics is also mentioned, but Qayyum is not consistent, otherwise, a detailed overview of the world of spirits would have been found. Aftab gives birth to a child who is similar to Sammy, his physical structure and body are strange, and he is an abnormal child. Abraham (the child) sees all the problems and events of metaphysics with his material body, but when he narrates the events, no one believes that his spiritual eye has naturally been opened, but he is to the worldly.
Crazy, he sees a blue dome on the beach road and four muezzins that no one else sees. But Qayyum understands his condition because these scenes are seen while twisting him too. The story ends with Ephraim prostrating on the road and Qayyum's analysis, that he is prostrating on the last step of the mysticism on which he is on the first step. By virtue of the last virtue, one kisses the floor of the first step of mysticism (the rank of wilayat).
